Ann started working at the Millbury Public Library in February 2017 as the Children's/YA Librarian/Assistant Director. Her library career began at the Worcester Public Library. She was a Children's Services Branch Supervisor in one of four school branches for three years. Prior to this, she was a teacher in various grade levels for nineteen years. Beginning in July of 2019, she became Director. Ann's overall responsibilities are to take charge of the overall operations of the library and work in collaboration with the Library Board of Trustees. Ann graduated in 2018 with a Masters in Library Information Science (MLIS) from the University of Rhode Island.
Jill has been with the Millbury Public Library since 2003. As the Library Clerk, she prepares the payroll and processes the bills pertaining to the library. When in need, she will assist and support the Director with a variety of duties. She loves working here with a wonderful crew.
Lisa started working at the Millbury Public Library as a Library Page in 2009. Then, in 2014, she was able to move up to a Library Assistant position. Now, Lisa works at the Circulation Desk checking in/out materials as well as cataloging audios, DVD's, large print books, and adult magazines.
Olivia started working at the Millbury Public Library in 2020. She attends Millbury High School and is involved with the band and drama programs. As the Library Page, she assists with shelving, processing, and organizing books in the Adult Book departments. Olivia loves to write, cook, and read in her free time.
Carrie started working at the Millbury Public Library in 2018. She previously worked as a Library Associate at the Auburn Public Library for 16 years. Carrie earned a Bachelor's degree in Communications/Graphic Design from Fitchburg State College. She assists at the Circulation Desk, order and catalog children's books and magazines, prepare Grab & Go crafts, and create online Book Talks. Carrie is a big fan of books, movies, music, games, crafts, and nature.
Samantha is a Library Page here at the Millbury Public Library as well as a current high school student. As a Page, she gets to process and shelve books as well as to help fulfill other duties around the library. She previously volunteered at the Millbury Public Library from 2019-2020 before becoming a Library Page in 2021. In her free time she enjoys drawing, baking, and reading and is a member of the drama program of her high school.
