Blackout Poetry, Kids' Club, & Swing and Sing Videos

New activities for April!

Try a different way of writing poetry--Blackout Poetry! Words are provided, you decide which to keep and which to cross out to create your own original piece! Call to request a sheet through Curbside Pickup. Teens/tweens.

We have an all-new Kids' Club for ages birth-sixth grade. Sign up and take part in activities throughout the month, on your time. Stay connected with the library even from home!

Deb Hudgins provides videos that will encourage your toddler to get up, sing, and dance. Register to receive links and watch them any time.

Student-to-Student Reading Partnerships

Improve your child's reading fluency and confidence in a supportive, low-pressure setting. Kids read aloud to an older student volunteer in a one-on-one session over Zoom. Geared to kindergarten-grade six. ​

Monday Preschool Storytime

Our Children's Librarian, Miss Tracey, reads stories, sings songs, and leads  kids in practicing their letters, counting, and sight words!

This week, celebrate Music Monday and the Week of the Young Child with "Pokko and the Drum." Storytimes are recorded; watch on your schedule! Geared to ages preschool-kindergarten. ​

Early Literacy Craft Bag

Pick up a set of educational and crafting materials to go along with the Monday storytime--complete on your schedule! This week, make a musical shaker! Call the library any time during the week to make a curbside pickup appointment. Limited sets available.

Wednesday Preschool Storytime

Our Children's Librarian, Miss Tracey, reads a story and shows a related craft. Storytime is recorded; watch on your schedule! Story and craft geared to ages preschool-early elementary grades. Today: hear a story about friendship and make your own dragon.
